Food Blog: E Blackboard 2

A revisit to E Blackboard 2 because my friend wanted to have budgeted western food around our area, we suggested this to her. As I've mentioned before, E Blackboard is like another Botak Jones and Astons who is dishing out great western food at affordable and reasonable tags to the HDB heartlanders.

Because this is the second branch they have, it's named as E Blackboard 2. The very first and original branch was at the extreme end of Singapore, namely New Upper Changi Rd, Bedok area. Gotta be fair to the Westerners right. Good food ought to be shared =) And they have quite a variety to choose from.

Chicken Chop

The pepperish gravy

My friends had an order of their Signature Chicken Chop each which comes with coleslaw, tuscan fries and chicken with the skin slightly charred. The chicken was actually quite good, juicy and well-marinated. With the flavoursome pepperish gravy over it, it was wonderful.

I tried the Cajun Chicken this time round, which comes with coleslaw, tuscan fries and chicken with gluey BBQ sauce spreaded on the slighty charred skin. The BBQ sauce was actually not bad, just a tad salty. Chicken wise, juicy and well-seasoned.

On a side note, I prefer Botak's fries. It tastes much better. This portion is enough to last me till the next day. Maybe Botak's need to re-check on their portion of fries. heh.

It's good to try and compare to see which of these 3 (Astons, Botak Jones and E Blackboard). By the way, E Blackboard is still having some promotions like discounting how many percent if you eat on a weekday lunch or dinner, weekend lunch or dinner and even student, with uniform.

Location:
eBB2: Blk 431 #01-196
Clementi Ave 3
(San Po Food Court)

Lastly, hopefully, everybody who tries, eats like her, so heartily. heh

PS: I edited your face pretty not? =P

Food Blog: Of the School & Carls Jr

Went back school (not purposedly) and I had my favourite handmade noodles - ban mian! I missed it quite alot. Furthermore, it's one of those must have for me in school! Everytime I have cravings for the noodles, I will seek from those coffee shops which I find it incomparable to the school's

The soup base is still as tasty and flavoursome which is addictive! Cant help but to finish the whole bowl. They have the tom yum flavour too which I have not try till date and different kinds of handmade noodles! I find the stack of flours with reasonable bite size and al dente; wouldnt get too sick of eating it. However, that stack of flours kinda stick together this time round. Nevertheless, the soup base rocks big time

And I had Carls Jr for dinner. Is it me or what, I think the menu is quite hard to decipher and I stood there for a good ten minutes to understand and pick what I wanted. Because I suddenly feel like having mushrooms, I bought the Portobello Mushroom Combo as the burger itself wasnt worth the price. The combo comes with free refills which is rare in Singapore and also little number tags for the burger which will serve later, just like Mos Burger.

The burger was huge and it tasted not bad. I prefer Burger King's Double Mushroom Swiss though, with tender meat and juicier mushrooms. I wolfed it down nonetheless. The only downer for me was the fact that my favourite fries was a bit cold.

I have the perception that they’re pretty much just an overpriced fast food outlet with the standard fare now. And all their combos are at least $10 which I think I can have a good ol' piping hot and filling ramen somewhere which is oiishi and sugoi!

Hehhhhhhhh heeeeeeeeeh.

I was within kissing distance of the fabled Barclays Premier League trophy this afternoon. The trophy, now on a South-east Asian tour, was on display at Ngee Ann City's Civic Plaza in Orchard Road, from 10am to 4pm.

To have a photograph taken with the trophy, I had to pay but it was all for a good cause. American International Group Inc in Singapore (AIG) is organising this football-themed fund-raising event for the earthquake victims in Sichuan province in China. All proceeds will go directly to the Sichuan Earthquake victims through AIG and Singapore Red Cross Society.

Thus, you just got to donate either 5 or 40 blings for a photograph to be taken. And of course, for the 40 blings donations, it's a photo with trophy with AIG movie card and a chance to win a trip to watch them play LIVE at Old Trafford. Club merchandise and jerseys will also be raffled off at the event too.

I was very excited and happy to know bout this event. Thanks Twinie and her sister for informing me. hehe. She told me she could sense my happiness all the way from Redhill =D

Shall let the photos share my joy. heh

Some of my favourite players who 'came'

759th Appearance for Manu

42 goals this season

hah. My favourite photo

Photographs are printed out free, for us, by Canon Selphy. I din manage to get my individual one because it was misplaced/ lost/ skipped/ passed/ during the printing process. So the staffs compensated me with one Manchester United Cup with signatures printed on it. It was an out-dated cup though. Shall make do with it first before they find my photo (not much hope I know)

Thanks for accompanying me too =D

Peektures: Steamboat at My Place

The next once-a-year biggest affair happening in my place where my family members will invite their closest friends to gather around the table from evening to night for a variety-seeking sumptuous feast. For this year (during the span of 15 days of CNY), we had a steamboat affair and fruit salads as side and tangyuans with read bean paste for dessert

I'm pretty sure that majorty of them had their fills and had fun too. I had my fair share of amusing entertaintment and laughters - The dialogues, the happenings that occured live in the house was rejoicing. After a few days of lying low and quietness, my house was lively again, festivitely high

Fascinated over Jay's dvd concert

Forever a rascal

HUAT AH~

Kudos to the greatest woman - my mama, who made everything possible tonight even though she had a long day at work and rushing home to monitor and doing everything personally and making everyone so homely and filling. heh. And to everyone who came. Loves

Peektures: Yixin's 21st Birthday

The first 21st party for this year and there's more to come (A big hole in my pocket I foresee =/) It was also the first time when I reached the clubhouse and the host wasnt there to welcome us as she was still busy making her hair upstairs in the house. And for the first time too that I felt like a lonely and pathetic soul floating around because I dunno her friends even though Joycelyn was there to accompany me, she has her circle of secondary school friends. bleaaaaaah. Nevertheless, I ended up being the birthday girl's photographer which make me feel abit at ease. Now, I sounded like a primary one kid going to school on the first day of school =/

Joy-c

The room was pretty cool with sofas and projector with SCVs

Yixin

SIM. I dunno the other three =/

Apparently, she had a two-layered cake like a wedding cake but she refused to send it to me, sending me the only piece of cake that I've taken when she passed it to me. Irritating right. lol. And I wasnt trying to be the centre of attraction lah, she pulled me to the centre to take cover for her. hahah

To end the night, I caught a very frustrating match. Raaaah
