Food + Photo Blog: Ice's 21st birthday After Lucas's intervention over the weekends, it was a therapeutic escape with a reunite PGG to celebrate Ice's belated birthday at BB. Jane and I were the first to reach because she has the Singaporean spirit of
kiasu =/
While waiting for the rest, we withnessed the heartlanders' Formula 1 and kids nowadays are sly, right Missy?

When one of our member came, we proceeded to the Zhi Char store that we used to patronise during secondary school days. The gathering was damn nostalgic and it has been awhile since I saw Ice, Joy and Renee's sister. Soon, it was indulging in some finger-licking good food.

And before that, Missy Jane made some comments during the orders on a couple of food which left us flabbergasted and burst out laughing afterwhich. Click onto the photos (hotplate toufu, chilli crabs and the buns) if you guys are interested bout the small conversation between the waitress and herself by our petite commentator.

We headed to Joy's house for durians next because the playground was packed. Before stepping into her house, Jane and I kept reminding her to keep her gi-nomous and overweight cats away because both of us were scared though I had to admit
Garlic (I assumed because the other one is called Ginger) was cute. Totally looks like d cat from
Shrek

My favourite photo!

We were chockablock! I sweared I burp and fart durians! lol. And more photo-takings after the whole episode of food stuffing.

- End Food was especially good when accompanied by great people, whose kinky conversations throughout the whole evening made it even more enjoyable. Thanks organiser. heh

Photo + Food Blog: PGG's adeventure The three of us finally met up after a very looooooooooooooong time. Six months I think, ever since CNY! We embarked on an adventure up Dempsey Hill. Up we went and continued walking till we saw a map and realised we were in the opposite direction as instructed by the map. We happily trekked back until we saw the map again.

To our great astonishment, we found ourselves at the other end of the hill. By then, we were sweating like a waterfall under the hot scorching sun. Thus, we decided to cab and Mr Nice taxi driver was willing to send us up the hilltop before anything undesire happens

We sat ourselves down in the indoor tuckshop. The tall roof ceilings gave the place spatial respite despite the bust. We took our orders (today's lunch special) first before going for grocery shopping. They have everything and anything and I was pretty amazed. They served breakfast till 3pm too! Who says only the early bird has
worms. It was really cool, quiet and pretty good ambedience for meals, studying and chilling. heh. The food first before the place =P

Iced Mocha

With ice-cream

Ice Chocolate

With ice-cream too

Renee's poached chicken with Jones aidi + mixed green (walnut bread)

Jane and mine oven baked ham with swiss emmental cheese + apple + tomato chutney (baguette)

Renee's sandwich was pale in comparison to ours. hahah. I love mine loads, especially with the apple and tomato chutney. This fusion is really good, not very sweet and a tad sour. Totally refreshing and I'm savouring at the thought of it. Furthermore, the greens was crunchy and the sauce/gravy/ whatever added on was addictive, it makes me wanna go for more!
The iced mocha and chocolate were good too, both with devilish swirls of chocolate at the bottom and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top is to die for. Not overly sweet but rich nonetheless. The money was well-spent there
After eating, I went around to explore and take many many photos

As I was saying, they have a wide variety like jams, coffees, chocolates, sausages, hams, wines, tea, pasta, sauces etc. After shopping, we had
Green Tea Earlgrey. We sat down and chit-chat and gossip everything under the sun, from secondary school to present. Missy Jane has alot to share!

Some photos before we left as they were closing (They closed early every Monday) and the both of them needed to rush for classes

- End Seems to have mapped out what's for me for the next few years if everything goes the way I want? Yet I haven make the first step. A little apprehensive and scared at the same time. Probably, when the results are released, I can be abit more certain? Right now, I just feel doubtful, fearful, worry and the added stress from my parents as I'm slacking way too much in their eyes -_-
It makes me wanna vanish......
