Food Blog: Of the School & Carls JrWent back school (not purposedly) and I had my favourite handmade noodles -
ban mian! I missed it quite alot. Furthermore, it's one of those must have for me in school! Everytime I have cravings for the noodles, I will seek from those coffee shops which I find it incomparable to the school's
The soup base is still as tasty and flavoursome which is addictive! Cant help but to finish the whole bowl. They have the
tom yum flavour too which I have not try till date and different kinds of handmade noodles! I find the stack of flours with reasonable bite size and al dente; wouldnt get too sick of eating it. However, that stack of flours kinda stick together this time round. Nevertheless, the soup base rocks big time

And I had Carls Jr for dinner. Is it me or what, I think the menu is quite hard to decipher and I stood there for a good ten minutes to understand and pick what I wanted. Because I suddenly feel like having mushrooms, I bought the Portobello Mushroom Combo as the burger itself wasnt worth the price. The combo comes with free refills which is rare in Singapore and also little number tags for the burger which will serve later, just like Mos Burger.

The burger was huge and it tasted not bad. I prefer Burger King's Double Mushroom Swiss though, with tender meat and juicier mushrooms. I wolfed it down nonetheless. The only downer for me was the fact that my favourite fries was a bit cold.
I have the perception that they’re pretty much just an overpriced fast food outlet with the standard fare now. And all their combos are at least $10 which I think I can have a good ol' piping hot and filling ramen somewhere which is oiishi and sugoi!

Food Blog: McDonald's It's not everyday that I'll be in time for breakfast or you may say that I have not wake up before twelve for quite a long while. Hence, eating breakfast only happens once in a blue moon. hahah. Headed to Mr Ronald's to have sandwiches.

Because McDonald's are halal certified here in Singapore, the bacon option isnt available and therefore, I've only two choices, which is either sausage with egg and cheese or sausage itself. These are served on a small pancake injected with maple flavouring deep inside its griddle folds. And of cos order the one with egg, that's only a twenty-cent difference! More worth it
lah
It's the second time I'm eating. This pancake-wrapped creation won over my heart
loh but it's damn sinful with an overloads of carbohydrates and unhealthy fats! I need some badmintons, cyclings and swimmings!

Food Blog: Calrs JR I was at Big Splash three weeks ago and had a sudden craving for fries! Hopped into
Carl's Jr to get their fries instead of KFC's. I bet you know KFC's standard. That was the first time I tried on Carl's Jr and I fell in love with their fries. It was marvellously good. Superb godlike.
Recently, I got a craving for it and went to get it again!

'Once you pop, you cant stop!' Simply agrees with that phrase. The fries are very addictive and I think among all the fast food chains, this is the best fries I ever had because they use REAL potatoes because they did not (bother?) to peel the brown skin off. hahah. So much so, I like the potatoish, the crispness of the fries! Furthermore, it isnt dry after all the deep frying and it's quite succulent! Wooooots!
It damn desirable and yummylicious; good enough for this potato lover here. Now, Carl's Jr topped my list for fries. I dunno bout their burgers as I din have a chance to let my tastebuds have a go at it. heh
By the way, I think I'm so fried. I had a KFC buddy meal the other day after swimming and a family feast (I only had two piece chicken, so that's not a feast for me!) just now. Sheeeeesh. Oh! The
Pasta Shrimp Cheez was quite good! You will find small lil' prawns, macaroni and cheese in that fried longitudinal tube! I kinda like it as it's pretty interesting! Taste wise wasnt that bad. Pretty commendable for KFC to come out with this. hahah
I feel like drinking some milk tea and eating half-boiled eggs now. And I read in today's papers that having two or more cups of milk tea in a day will aid to kidney stones???
hmm. Tried the fries!! It's excellent! =P
