Food Blog: E Blackboard 2 A revisit to E Blackboard 2 because my friend wanted to have budgeted western food around our area, we suggested this to her. As I've mentioned before, E Blackboard is like another Botak Jones and Astons who is dishing out great western food at affordable and reasonable tags to the HDB heartlanders.
Because this is the second branch they have, it's named as E Blackboard 2. The very first and original branch was at the extreme end of Singapore, namely New Upper Changi Rd, Bedok area. Gotta be fair to the Westerners right. Good food ought to be shared =) And they have quite a variety to choose from.

Chicken Chop

The pepperish gravy

My friends had an order of their Signature Chicken Chop each which comes with coleslaw, tuscan fries and chicken with the skin slightly charred. The chicken was actually quite good, juicy and well-marinated. With the flavoursome pepperish gravy over it, it was wonderful.

I tried the Cajun Chicken this time round, which comes with coleslaw, tuscan fries and chicken with gluey BBQ sauce spreaded on the slighty charred skin. The BBQ sauce was actually not bad, just a tad salty. Chicken wise, juicy and well-seasoned.
On a side note, I prefer Botak's fries. It tastes much better. This portion is enough to last me till the next day. Maybe Botak's need to re-check on their portion of fries. heh.
It's good to try and compare to see which of these 3 (Astons, Botak Jones and E Blackboard). By the way, E Blackboard is still having some promotions like discounting how many percent if you eat on a weekday lunch or dinner, weekend lunch or dinner and even student, with uniform.

Lastly, hopefully, everybody who tries, eats like her, so heartily. heh

Food Blog: E Blackboard & Wan ZhaiE Blackboard is the newest name added, that is bringing restaurant-styled western food to the HDB heartlands. Foodies have already heard of the likes of Astons and Botak Jones who are dishing out great western food at alarming rates!
Anyway, I went to try after seeing it on television the other night. This branch in Blk 431, Clementi Ave 3 is called e.BlackBoard II. The original stall is at the other part of the island in Bedok.
I had an order of their Signature Chicken Chop which comes with coleslaw, tuscan fries and chicken with the skin slightly charred. The chicken was actually quite good, juicy and well-marinated. With the flavoursome pepprish gravy over it, it was wonderful. I enjoyed eating the chicken becaues it was very chicken-ty and tender. The fries was also very addictive but I like Botak's version. And the portion of E Blackboard's is definitely not as overwhelming as Botak's.
I have forgotten to take photos because of a famished tummy. Till the next time then, because I'm going back for more of their specialties; for instances the steak, cajun chicken, beef patty, fish n chips etc which are yummylicious and with reasonable tags.
Before this, I went to the Tangs Bazzar Sale at NUS. It was pretty interesting. Wanted to take a look at the the sneakers as I read somewhere it's pretty cheap but din have the ones I fancy. Mac was having like a huge sale because the normal shelf price items were high. The friend din manage to get hers because they had limited stocks. In the end, both of us bought alot of food from the food stalls. tsssssk
Next on, I went to CCK to get my stuffs and had dinner there. This time round, I remembered to take photos but average food there =P hmm. Just wondering, why do they need to put a scoop of ice-cream over the milk tea?

The spoon ads -_-

That's the difference between the dry and soup wanton noodles. And why in the world is the dry one slightly expensive than the soup ones. Took a walk at the Pasam Malam and saw this - Old school game. The photos though blurred and not focused showed the orders of how you fix the gun before firing. heh

- End I think I spent the money in my wallet all on food today. And this upcoming event,
World Food Fair at Suntec might make me fat fat and wallet thin thin. lol. So do you think they have the food samplings as well? heh
