Photo Blog: Fireworks Armed with our tickets, we marched on excitedly to Marina Bay's floating platform for the Singapore Fireworks Celebrations. It had rained the whole day and we thought it wont come back again after we had sat down. But to our horror, there was a slight drizzle and everyone took out their brollies. In a while, colorful umbrellas and raincoats filled up this mini stage and dampened my mood for that very moment. Also, I felt kinda dumb not to bring my tripod along. However, I think it was not very necessarily after everything.
When it finally stopped raining, I was pretty delighted to enjoy the performance of those livebands and stunts by the professionals. There was a mini carnival at the basement with international food and games too in which we explored after the celebrations.
Nevermind the drizzle, I took lots of nice photos if you guys deemed pretty! hahah. Although, I was having a difficutly time taking them because my seats were damn near the stage and the fireworks just exploded directly in front and above me. Enjoyed these fireworks presented by France =)

After loitering there for another hour plus, we left for the carnival. We bought the Taiwan Spicy Fishball to eat. I love the soup! It was incredibly good, spicy and sour! Woots! While ASH played some shooting games to win herself two fans.
Next on, we headed to Esplanade Mall to have some toothsome ice-cream from Haagen Dazs as both ASH and me had a craving for it after the fireworks.

- End How you guys find the pictures? heh

Caught Jay's new one The Secret. For the first time in directing and improvement in acting, I would say he has done a good job as the movie is nice and touching. I was awestruck watching them playing the piano. A twist towards the end. I thought of a few possiblities behind the 'secret' but when the 'secret' was eventually revealed, it came as an unexpected yet beautiful twist to me. There was the usual corny lines yet NQMM played a memorable supporting role
So.... I shall give Jay a pat on his back when I see him next time. lol
Headed to Marina Bay for NDP. I think I'm very patriot even though I was quite sick, I still attended.. But during the whole parade, I was sitting down and closing my eyes to get some rest because I felt giddy! lol
