Too many Japanese delicacy post? For now I shall review Japan's neigbour cruisine - Korean Food. This was another case of immediate change of plan since we couldnt find any Shabu Shabu at Liang Seah. Both of us felt very cheated. hahah. Nonetheless, we walked past this Korean restaurant which looks good and we went in since both of us were very hunger!

The restaurant has a rather modern eatery feel, totally not like a Korean setting. But to emphasize it's a Korean palace, they have korean songs ringing over your heads. The menu isnt that extensive also, just those normals you see on drama

Anyway, we ordered the Korean Steamboat and Dak Gai Bi (辣炒年糕) for just thirty-five blings. It's so affordable and cheap considering we're getting authentic Korean food. I use my own method to gauge whether it is authentic or not by comparing to those that are selling in foodcourts. hahah. Compared to those, these are heavenly good while the foodcourt's are rather additive!

Traditional appetisers. Shiokness

AH! Korean Steamboat (Gam Ja Tang)!! It's pigbone soup with some herbs I think as it tasted herby and a little spicy. There's plenty of vegetables, potatoes, mushrooms and porkribs inside! Huge portion! Both of us ate to a point that we felt the ribs actually reproduce themselves inside the pot.. Never ending! Even though I'm not a pork eater, it was savory, appealing; tender and soft with great taste. Trust me. hahah

Legendary Silver bowl

OMG! OMG! Dak Gai Bi (辣炒年糕) which in my opinion taste better than the steamboat. This is seriously godlike. I like it alot. There's not only 年糕 but also chicken slices and the sauce is addictive. Something you could ask for more! For only the two of us, it's considered a HUGE portion and we had difficulty eating finishing it

These are just for 35blings. If you order the steamboat and the BBQ meat (pork, beef or chicken) set, it will be 33blings and there's three types of soup to choose from (pork, seafood or kimchi). Furthermore, you can ask them to make them very spicy or less spicy. heh

This is a good experience - Authentic korean ladyboss and chef. Excellent taste at affordable prices. I finally get to eat 辣炒年糕 and soaking my rice with soup. This is the aftermaths of after watching too many kimchi dramas. hahah

So now, kimchi, sushi, fish 'n' chips? heheheh
