Met up with Jem to go to East Coast Park for cycling like finally because I kept postponing the day to cycle asiamabusypersonyousee =/ Nanny Lam flew us plane and so the both of us went without her. hahah. It's been quite awhile (like 4 years) since I ride on a bike. The feeling of riding on the bike with the wind blowing against your face were inevitable explainable. You guys just have to feel it with my photos or head down to feel for yourselves. hahaha. Anyway, we managed to rent our bikes at $6 for 2hrs (1hr pay +1hr free)

We started off our journey to the left side of ECP towards the cable-ski area to our designated destination. We gave ourselves four hours to it. And so we cycled.. Our first pit stop was at the sandcastle area. To my greatest dismay, there was only one pathetic sand sculpture

And to my utter holy mess, especially when I had went to Redang quite recently, our beach was awfully saddening. Alright, minus off the comparison with Redang, the state of our beach was very bad. VERY very disastrous indeed. It hasnt got any better since the last time I went. Bigggggg sighhhhhh~

Although the beaches werent that pretty, there were loads of people having nice family BBQs or groups playing soccer and having team games or relaxing at one corner and singing songs or flying kites or roller blading or cycling or whatever you can think of

Gay skates

Had our third pitstop at my favourite transformer for some chills down the throat before rushing all the way till we reached the airstrip-near-the-round-road-area-thingy-there, dunno how to name the place. hahah. Just a place where you can see planes taking off

We decided not to go further since the sky didnt look quite peaceful and we headed back along this long stretch of road and discovered a playground at some clubhouse or restaurant. The place's quite cool, its just right at the coast. I'm not sure whether they serve fantastic food not though

It started to drizzle and so we got our assess off onto our bikes and rode back. You know when you had too many pitstops and slacking at a place, you dun feel like moving at all again. But we continued our journey back and chanced upon beautiful sky and had another pitstop after 10 minutes to iforgetwhat. Anyway, we came to this place and saw some funny people looking for fast swimming fishes that were trapped in those holes after it became low-tide

That's not all. The most amazing and coolest thing was that there was this multicoloured-supernova-lookalike-cloud-rainbow aurora in the clouds. Everyone say WOAHHHHHH please. lol

After getting awed by that round round rainbow thingy, it was all the way back and we made it all just in four hours. Shiokness. Beyond words to describe..

********Transform to food blog********

Time to fill our tummies. Our inital plan was to cycle to Changi Airport to eat Popeye but since we din make it there, we settled our dinner at East Coast Park's central area, where all the restaurants are. Thus we decided to give this cafe a try as when we walked past and see newspaper and local artistes' recommendations listed outside of the cafe saying that the cafe was fabulous. Therefore, we'll be reviewing..

'Si Mud' Tea

Chicken + Pork Chop rice with Shangai Sauce

Chicken chop rice with blackpepper sauce

Took quite awhile for the food to arrive. The smell of my blackpepper made me salivate yet with a mouth of the food, it was disappointing. No big surprise and it taste normal. I thought there's something bout the 'Si Mud' tea but I dun have the WOAH feeling. We were struggling to finish the food and our plans of ordering dessert were dashed

Maybe it's the food we ordered but that was a recommendation what. Or maybe is us.. LOL
